Question Exchange 2000 Server TURN

Is Exchange 2000 Server TURN supported on the H-SPhere plans?

Is that the best way to handle email for our scenario(s):
* Smal Business Server 2000 or,
* Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Exchange 2000 Enterprise Server.

Both these configurations run on a network connected to the Internet over cable modem and cable modem router (linksys), and the provider (cox) does not allow any incomming traffic on (http, smtp, etc.)

We ran another free mail server but it started to perfom poorly at high messages volume and storage needs and we also need the calendar, etc.

We would preffer the second configuration as opposed to SBS for better control of the OS.

Any oppinions/suggestions will be greatly apreciated!

Thanks,
RG

Are you just trying to do outgoing mail?

What's the volume? If you're just sending over Cox network, you can probably get away with just Win2000 Server and whatever mailing component you want.

Here's the complete scenario.

We are hosting with Matrixreseller/Vortech and that is what we want, we just want to be able to download our mail into Exchange on our server, inside our network connected through Cox. We do not have a permanent IP address and Cox would not let us host a publicly accessible SMTP server in their network anyways. We tried with the commercial and free POP3 connectors for Exchange 2000 and each of them had problems. We have Small Business Server 2000 which supposedly has a native POP3 connector that works, and are interested to try that, if that would work.

Thank you,
RG

Just use the POP3 Connector on your Exchange Server, this is by far the simplest way to pull mail into Exchange imo.

You mean the one that comes with SBS? Or if one that integrates with E2K, which one?

SBS doesn't have a POP Connector, the Connector is an E2K Connector (mind you E2K comes with a standard SBS bundle anyway).
