fixed banner on every top of pages?
Anyway to have fixed banner on pages of all sites, like those of freeservers site with sponsor banner?

With freeservers, since they don't give FTP access with the banner account they are able to append the banner code to each uploaded web page.
That's a way to do it, but you'd have to create a web-based FTP app along with the script to append the files as they come in. You can also setup a cronjob that runs an app that scans webpages that have been FTP'd (if you want to give FTP access) - this may be a cleaner way to do it. Lastly, if these are going to be domains like 'mysite.yourdomain.com' you could always (depending on your programming language) set up an include - with ASP you could use global.asa to accomplish some of these tasks. In the end, several choices. You just have to find one that you're able to program - or hire out. |
