Hurricanes
I'm curious if either of the hurricanes will be very close to the data center?

Charley will be about 50 miles from us. It should go up 75 to about 301 and then right up I95 to GA..
We will be sending out some emails with NOC stats and Phone stats within the next few hours to let everyone know what we are doing for hurricane Charley. The Datacenter should be fine as its built for this kind of thing. Our office's on the other hand were not so hurricane proof. But they should be ok..

Well I guess we will just have to wait it out and see if it hits any relevant lines.
The two hurricanes were well reported in our news, so we won't have much problem telling the clients what is going on (in case stg. gets in their way). Please let us know when the alert is over.

Hey guys... be extremely careful and make sure you stay out of harms way. I'm sure you will all be just fine, but these things can produce tornadoes.
My wife and I barely survived a tornado this past Memorial Day weekend. I have lots of pictures and video of the aftermath. Unfortunately, now, when I hear thunder my stomache ends up in my throat. BE SAFE!

I hate thunderstorms, so this whole hurricane mess has my stomach in knots. I am freaking out while they show people on the news acting like it is not going to happen.
