oops. What Happened there?

Was it me or were all the Vortech sites down? I checked from a couple of different ISPs.

I was asleep, so I have no idea.

I checked with the techs on shift last night and we did not see any issues. Also checked the logs for the router and no issue there either.

Raincity is right......there was a complete blackout of ALL vortech websites AND email for 3 to 5 minutes (all means including all clients and forums). Since it was such a small time-out, I thought you guys may have flipped a switch somewhere. But you do not know about it, then perhaps you may want to check yours logs or something to check why it happened so it doesn't re-occur with a bigger hiccup next time........

I remember bcos I was posting something on this forum, so you can check my previous posts if you need accurate time for your logs. I then hit the back button and lost what I had written, so had to write all over again once the site was resumed. During the blackout, I checked my emails and all domains and main vortech website, none were working.

As Brad said, the logs have been checked and on our end nothing shows as being down at any time last night. Also, the techs on duty did not notice anything going down either. It's odd.

We have a new part for our router thats coming in tomorrow that will duble what it can do now.. The next thing about our new routers is we should never have to take them down for upgrades really. Its a little tight on memory with how big the BGP tables are these days so I hope this will fix all that.
