EXACTLY, you aren't suppose to be able to lookup domains that you don't host.

I was simply proving that point with the XML API to show Brangwyn that Resellers will probably be able to use it.

This has nothing to do with logging into the CP, nothing at all... Its a matter of doing what the CP does without logging into the CP.

No, the java run from the command line... You need shell access to the CP box... They are just test utilities though. You could call up the XML with ASP, PHP, Perl, whatever supports it.

I think matt would be the best to work on something like this. But we have to be very careful because don't want to give users any access to other users info.

We would have to work close with Psoft also to do something like this because there database is not all that easy to work with because its so big and the link so much stuff together..


Have you looked around Psofts forum to see if anyone else has done something like this or talked about it there? Maybe we can get some support for them to help get it going as well.

But thats from back in 2002 maybe you could bump the post up and see if you can get them moving on it. I know they have some kind of XML stuff in 2.4 but I am not a programer by far..
