@mail pop3/imap selection removed?
is it just me, or has the @mail login selection for either pop3 or imap been removed? the option seemed to disappear within the last couple of hours, leaving the user with no choice and logging them into imap mode by default.

Yea we switched it over to IMAP, this should not affect any one using @mail to check mail on our systems. @mail upgrade fixed all the issues with it working with our version of IMAP. This will also impove @mail as it will not have to keep 10+ gb of mail there as well on the mail servers.

so is there any way to retrieve messages that were in the pop3 folders (like drafts or sent)? clicking on those folders now just redirects to the imap ones, which contain nothing.
nothing of note lost for me, but it did kind of wipe clean any email that was saved or written using the pop3 option, which some folks will probably find a bit problematic. thanks! |

also, the "all folders" and "visible folders" sections you see when you click on imap.folders in the directory tree doesn't seem to be functioning as one would expect. i go to hide a folder, it disappears, then when i return to the screen again from the inbox that folder come back. not overly familiar with this, but it seems a bit odd as well.

Its back till I get a chance to work on that... Need to purge some old messages ... (>30 days)... IMAP shouldn't store messages so this shouldn't even have to be done in the future.

i'm getting the following error now after clicking send:
Content-Type: text/html Software Configuration Error The error message follows: Message 150168 corrupt or packet-size too large. Specify a max_allowed_packet in the my.cnf file the messages do appear to be going through, however, but the sent/draft/trash folders are unviewable and generating errors as well. sorry it's turned into such a hassle. thanks! |

Not sure... @mail has been corrupted some tables pretty heavily, so I am doing afull database repair at the moment... (Therefore is down...)
Also, earpollution, I would appreciate it if you could submit a ticket with specifics regarding your ticket yesterday that stated "so is there any way to retrieve messages that were in the pop3 folders (like drafts or sent)? clicking on those folders now just redirects to the imap ones, which contain nothing" Whats the email address with this so I can see how to switch POP3-IMAP safely...? |
