Hi
on a client's web site, on a win machine, whenever somebody tries to send a mail to the domainname of my client with an attachment they get this: SMTP error from remote mailer after end of data: host mail1.hsphere.cc [216.157.132.2]: 552 sorry, that message size exceeds my databytes limit (#5.3.4) The attachment is really small, 70 kb What's going on? I read there was something going on on the 15th, does that have anything to do with this? p.s. The mailbox we're trying to send to is empty. Thanks, Lex |

Whenever I click on a link in this board I get: You have not activated your account by clicking the link in your email. You must do this before you can access the forums.
You do not have permission to access the page that you were trying to. Are you trying to edit someone else's post or trying to access administrative features? Check that you are allowed to perform this action in the Forum Rules. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. Although I have clicked and set my profile so that it gives my information in the links, I still for example can not go to the link you just gave... But that's just another problem. Please reply in short how I can solve the problem (or peoblems if you have time) Thanks Lex |

It does not look like your forum account has been upgraded. Just go under http://www.matrixreseller.com/forum/...&threadid=4417
And we can get your account upgraded then.

Lex, in the meantime to let you in on what's happening, Matrix has blocked any mail (incoming or outgoing) that is 97kb or larger.
This is why you're having size issues with your email. It's an ongoing issue that they are working on, but in the meantime if you have anyone you need to notify that for the time being you cannot recieve or send messages over that size, you should do so. In fact, most messages with an attachment that's over 50-60k will be rejected. |
