Since I have problems explaining my problem to support, could some of you test this account with your email client and let me know if you can read emails or not?

Works fine my friend, and remember, I am remote tech support, checking from over 600 miles form servers, this is from dial up, there was one email there, I checked using Evolution on Suse Linux 8.1.

I also set it to leave messages on server, so anyone else that cheks it should see the same email in the inbox. |

Thanks for the report!
I did one more test with IMAP and it's worse : Socket Error # 10061 Connection refused. POP3 just gives : Connection Closed Gracefully. A normal accounts logs in , checks mail and logs off. |

POP3 and IMAP work fine from linux.
It seems that this is a Mac / Win only problem. |

The bug has been confirmed by support ans forwarded to Psoft, so there is no need to test this account anymore. Thank you.

Wow, how odd! Linux works and everything else craps out? They use the same protocals! Anyway, I am not griping at you, this is just too odd. I really thought the account was working all along, but I do not use windows. (figured it was all the same honestly, as far ar checking pop3/imap mail was concerned.)

I am experiencing problems regarding IMAP and mail accounts under windows plans as well. I just submited a ticket on this issue because it seemed that IMAP did not work on an NT plan. I can check my accounts using Oulook/Outlook Express (using imap) on any freebsd plan, but any of my plans that are on the windows servers (using mail2 as the mail server specifically) get the same Socket Error.

My issue is resolved. Matrix contacted psoft and they fixed it. It could have been a service not running on mail2 or the port not being open on the firewall.
