odd w2k3 problem

I have a very odd problem, my services console(services.msc) will be closed right after openning, without any error. only when i look in application events, i can see this error:
faulting application mmc.exe, faulting module unknown

i had checked services from msconfig, they all running fine, and i can see them without any problem.

any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Just a guess, but I wonder if services.msc might be corrupt. You might try running Computer Management (compmgmt.msc) which includes the services module anyway or you could just load MMC and add in the services snap-in and see what behaviors you get doing that.

thanks Devorem. the problem was kaspersky, it was corrupted some system files, and after uninstalling it and repair, it works again.
