Has anyone hear of Access Orlando (ISP)?

I have a customer who's site was on Access Orlando's servers, but appearantly they have been bought, closed or are just not answering their phones.

Since some of you are in Orlando, maybe you know the scoop. Any information would be appreciated.

www.ao.net is the website. The site is still there, but no phone or reply. If you can figure out who it is, we would greatly appreciate it.

I know what DC there in and been there a few times, but not sure that will help much.

Maybe that datacenter is still functioning and someone there can still access it. Ok, maybe not!

I used to work for AO.

They were bought out by Sequiam Corporation. Their ISP / Colocation services basically ended for the most part at that point. Their network infrastructure was really all that Sequiam was after.

As for datacenter...yeah...they had their own "datacenter". It was the hallway between the minifridge and the bathroom in their downtown office.

There was also the barn which housed the modems for their dial-up ISP service. It was literally a barn with a dirt floor.

The old owner of AO was Alan McGinn. He works for Sequiam as the CTO now. If you can't find any other contact info for him, you can try contacting information@sequiam.com to see if they might get a message to him. He's a fair guy and I'm sure he will help you if you can reach him.
