2004-11-25 Network/Upstream Issue

From about 8:45 am till about 9:00 AM we expiriances an upstream provider issue. One of our upstreams stopped passing TCP traffic. You were able to ping the servers but not access them. This issue has been resolved (By shutting off this upstream) but there may be a short wait for the new routs to propigate.

Looks like web, ftp, and cpanel are up. Mail is down as of 09:30.

Further to ticket RKC-82573 I still have no mail access for all of my domains - I am receiving phone calls from people telling me that mail sent to them is bouncing back.

I'm in Rep.of Ireland and also having intermittent problems with the forum. Have been without email for over 2 hours now and getting serious hassle from my clients!!!!

Sitll I am unable to view my sites and also unable to view the monitoring site. It is now 9:42 AM EST. I am in Nashville, TN. My sites are up 5 minutes and then down 10, up 3, down 10. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen (two days in a row).

I am getting reports that this down time started earlier than 8:45. I personally could not access my cpanel at about 8:20am EST. It's 9:50am EST and the issue has not yet resolved.

PLEASE Vortech, somebody update this thread so we can talk intelligently with our customers. I won't lose clients if I can communicate, but saying nothing, or "We are working on it", isn't what they want to hear.

All my sites have been bouncing up and down all night and currently they are all down hard. Just one thing after another lately.

Hello same problem here ... our sites down more then 1 hour now.

I understand you guys are working hard to make this thing work but just the thought of it scares me that such a good customer service and support and this kind of downtime.

Month of November was bad.

Hope they will do something to get this thing fixed once and for all.
