SPAM Programs

Interested in what outlook users with a spam program like. Spambutcher, Spamcatcher, qurb or any others. Something with rules that are easy to apply elsewhere(another pc). Seems Nortons Anti-Spam can't really transport rules or filters to another pc very easily(according to symantec). Not a big fan of symantec these days. This is not for me since I don't really care for outlook either.

What version of Outlook? 2003's built in spam filter is one of the best I've ever had (and I've tried a few)

I've been using Cloudmark's SpamNet for probably over a year now...
They changed the name of it, but it's still the greatest IMO.

http://www.cloudmark.com/products/safetybar/

Works with exchange accounts and imap.

The whole community aspect of it really works if you ask me.

Cloudmark was one I used since beta (probably recommended it here before actually), must say it was good, though I did find O2K3 Spam Filter did a better job so I've just not bothered and there's cost advantages too

I agree with Brangwy.
I have been using http://www.giantcompany.com 's SpamInspector for a long time. It was working well with Outlook until Microsoft accuired the company. For last few weeks it has been taking lot of RAM and crashing my PC and Laptoop. After many attempt to get it to work well, I trashed it. and now using Outlook 2003 Junk Email filter.
This comes free with Outlook 2003 and catches around 95% spams I recieve each day.

I also tried with Norton Antispam. But, it does not meet my expectations and spam filtering rate is low when compared Outlook 2003.

So, my personal opinion is Any external spam filter is going take more resources of my PC than using Outlook alone!.

Spam Inspector is great, when it works... I too have had a lot of issues with it lately. It caught almost all the stuff that Outlook did not, but if it is not stable it's just no good. Their support has answered all my questions and fixed everything when there is a problem, but it is still so annoying that I am going to remove it and wait to see what Microsoft does with it.
