Programs to backup / synchronise data

Just wondering what programs everyone is using to back up their data on Windows? I have huge amounts of data that changes fairly regularly so I rely on a synchronised backup system from a to b (then > c - offsite weekly) which I can schedule once a day. I don't need anything too fancy, just reliable and easy to setup with decent synchronising & filtering system. I have been trialling an inexpensive one that I can recommend: Backer http://www.cordes-dev.com/english/overview.html When I last trialled the 'more expensive' leading market programs I found they were too complicated and at the end of the day were less efficient (& sometimes buggy).

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Very powerful and flexible software: SureSync

I've been using it for years to backup a laptop to a server and I have been very satisfied. It does it all.

Thanks, that looks perfect - might take me a while to get around their multitude of synch options, I guess "mirror" would be the obvious choice...

Thnaks B, enjoy yer lazy day.

I think RSYNC may be a little nerdy for my needs, although free - I like that! :-)
CYGWIN is an interesting tool to know about!

Yeah, SureSync has a myriad of synch options. When I first started using it, I thought I would limit myself to mirror only. Heh, once I realized what this thing could do I now have 10 relations with differing synch methods.

I have also created a (held) scheduled sync that will run all 10 relations on my que every night. I dont really let it run automatically. I just launch SureSync and run the scheduled job manually each night.

Works like a charm.

I've been trialling SureSync and it is a great backup solution for my needs, very quick too with a good price for it's feature set. The interface makes dealing with complex synch and backup routines very easy, I like the way it deals with relationships and rules - I wish it would list the full path of the rules in the folders list though. Thanks for the tip!
