Due to the issues with the control panel being unusually slow today, we're going ahead with the upgrade now. The CP will be down for the next few minutes as we switch the boxes out. We'll keep you updated on our progress.

CP is back up.
Things are in place for tomorrow's database server upgrade... But CP is good to go.
