I will be signing up with matrix shortly but I wanted to ask a couple of quick questions.
I will be signing up for the Neo plan which basically gives me 35 billable accounts. I understand that each account can host unlimited domains. My question is if I want to conserve those billable accounts, basically don't sell plans that include the CP, then should I put those non CP accounts under my domain? If so can each of those users see each others files and such or even my files? I came up with this idea due to a thread I read earlier: http://www.matrixreseller.com/forum/...ead.php?t=6225 Next question is the Neo plan comes with 12 IP address, is one of those mine, and I have the option to sell the other 11, right? I would image I could purchase more, if so what would the price be? That's pretty much it, for now. Thanks in advance. Bob |

Most people that don't need to give end users a CP account, set up a Windows and a Unix account for those users. Remember, though, that with Windows, you cannot have subFTP, so if you give end users FTP access, they can see all the domains in the CP. For that reason, I wouldn't put windows users in the same CP as any of your windows accounts.
With the Unix side you can give out subFTP though, so there is no problem there. As for IP's, you can actually sell all 12 if you want. If you need one, then yes you can sell the other 11. They are $1/month each after your free ones. There used to be a maximum # of IP's each reseller account could have, but I don't know if that's still the case. |
