forward not working

i have a mail forward which is set to forward the incoming mails to one mailbox in the same domain, a copy to another to a 2nd domain hosted in the same account, and third to hotmail account.

the hot mail account is working but the mails are not coming into my mailbox in my own domain and the 2nd domain mailbox as well.


download@mydomain.com ---> name@mydomain.com
---> name@mydomain2.com
---> name@hotmail.com

any idea whats the problem

if you want to forward to a different box in the same domain, you have to use an alias, not a forward. Forwards are for outside domains. Not sure why it didn't forward to the 2nd domain, though. I think you can set up a forward and an an alias for the same box name - ie: box@domain.com as a foward and box@domain.com as an alias.

Try that. Then maybe send in a trouble ticket about that 2nd domain.
