Hey guys and gals --

Sorry about putting one of these up so late; I thought the night shift had one up already. CF3 went down hard and we're working on getting everything back up. I personally don't have specific details, but I know that we're recreating everything and setting up permissions right now. As more updates (and information) comes in, I'll keep you all posted.

Update (1:32pm) - (Do not do what's in Red -- I've noted why in a later update!) Okay, looks like everything is almost normal. If you get "CF3" popping up or have any other oddities (like sites still not coming up), please go to the end-user's control panel, click the Domains icon (or use the menu to go to Domain Info), and turn Web Services Off and back On for the site that's having issues. Don't worry; no content will be deleted in this process so it's safe to agree to the confirmation that shows up on the next page. This should re-create the site in IIS; hopefully at worst you'll have to re-request ASP.NET 2.0 (if you had it enabled) or set up the directory indexes again. If any of you still have problems getting anything up and running, please submit a ticket on it. Thanks for being patient!

Update (2:44pm) - Nevermind the Web Services part; you can turn it off but can't turn it back on. I'm trying to contact a Level 3 tech so don't do anything just yet.

Update (8:39am) - Josh was at the data center last night rebuilding the server and we're once-again restoring permissions. He said that some of the sites might be back up, but there is still some more work to be done. Sorry, guys.

Its 8:37 pm EST and my sites are still aren't showing up (displaying CF3 only). Do we have any further news?

Or is it going to be another day or two before Level 3 gets to it?

Josh is down at the Data Center rebuilding the server. I'll call him now and give you an update

EDIT-- The OS is currently being rebuilt, Josh gave me an ETA of a couple Hours. I'll keep everyone updated.

The Votech support ticketing expert asked me to check the status of CF3 here. What is the status?

At this point we are still working on getting the correct permissions on everyone's sites. We understand it's taking a long time but we are not able to make this go any faster. It's a script that is running to fix the issues.

Josh is running Hsphere updates and restoring DSNs, shouldn't be too much longer.

All the major issues with CF3 should be resolved now. If your site isn't coming up, please try toggling Web Service and/or Coldfusion off/on in the control panel. If you're having trouble with your DSN, please send us the DSN info and we'll add it. If you have any other issues, please submit a ticket.
