MySQL9 - error 12 from table handler

We've been getting a fair amount of tickets tonight about this one. We're working on this one, and we'll post an update when this is resolved.

I restarted MySQL on mysql9 and the queries that were failing are working for now. We'll keep an eye on this one.

me too... unable to connect issues with mysql9 (I've submitted the ticket)....

here's one: 'Out of memory; Check if mysqld or some other process uses all available memory. If not you may have to use 'ulimit' to allow mysqld to use more memory or you can add more swap space'

I too am getting complaints about queries failing randomly. Is there any way for me to monitor the status of this server?

There was also a bug in some versions of MySQL that caused this same error when doing an ON JOIN randomly .. can't remember the specifics but perhaps we're running that version ?

a day after and we still getting error "12 from table handler" This is getting a bit long time to solve the problem.

I am still getting complaints about this error:

SQL Error : 1030 Got error 12 from table handler

And support has been silent for 3 days on it.. I know for sure i will loose that customer soon...

Most likely there's an application on there causing the issues, tracking it down could take a while. Sounds suspiciously like a memory problem.

mtop might help identify anything rogue going on in the server though I'm sure Techs probably already have this nifty tool in their arsenal

Yes they replaced the memory and fixed any other issues that were causing it. It is running fine now.
