Around 2PM EDT vortech experienced a UDP flood, causing no/limited connectivity for our network. The issue has since been resolved and all services are working normally. We are still looking into the cause of the flood, so we can take steps to prevent this in the future.

Since this happened I've had problems on my sites that are using SSI - none of the includes show up although the rest of the page above the includes loads fine. These sites are on Unix8.
See on http://www.zihua-ixtapa.com/ and http://www.surf-mexico.com - both pages have a Photo of the Day include at the right side of the page; on neither site does it load. Prior to the flood, everything seemed to be working fine. |

We have added/changed several rules at our router to prevent this in the future.

Zihrena: If you are having an issue with your site on Unix8, please submit a ticket to support. It should be unrelated to the UDP flood.

My clients have been having intermittent email and website outage problems for 3 days now. Seems to be on the ns and ns1 nameservers. 2 of the sights are on unix16.
