Mail Servers - 2/27/07

The mail cabinet had a power failure. Most of the mail servers are back up now. Mail3 is going through FSCK and will be up shortly.

Looking at issues on mail8 and mail10. The rest of them are up and running.

Mail8 and mail10 are up.

All mail servers are now up. If you're still having problems, please submit a ticket to support. It might take a few minutes for things to catch up on the servers.

OK, it looks like mail7 needs an FSCK. It'll be going down for a few minutes.

Mail7 is back up. Again, please let us know of any problems in a trouble ticket.

my clients are unable to login into the mail servers

MAILS recving
MAILS sent thru SMTP ?

Mail Server 8 are not receiving any mail

Mail11 is having issues too. SMTP timing out & Authentication doesn't work for webmail.

confirm the issue with mail8 - mail8 has not collected any e-mails for past 4~6 hours.

As far as I can see 8 receives mail from other internal Vortech mail servers....But Nothing from external Mail Servers.

We're looking at the issue with mail8.

Mail8 should be fine now.
