Is Vortech in trouble?

I just wandered into the forums after a long absence. And I found this tread, which is most disturbing. Is Vortech planning on closing its doors soon? I really hope not... But if so, please give us adequate notice so we can leave!

Many concerns here are valid, many are premature. Since I run their UNIX boxes I will leave the official PR to Brad. When I see him today I will let him know to chime in.

The valid concerns were about the phones calls. Thats it.

Operations are smoother than ever here. We dont post as much on the forum because we are busy with new projects.

Now I can go back to the troubles and pleasures of normal life

It's easy to open an account and the charges are reasonable, no need of any monthly activity and no monthly charges. Their new system is great and support is also good.

Not a problem sir. I will be around a bit more now, I had taken a bit of time off over the past 6 months to a year as I was getting a bit burned out but now I am back and ready to move 100% forward.

Thanks Brad... I have gone through the wringer before with ISP's closing their doors and leaving me and my clients out to dry. I will give you the benefit of the doubt for sure.

I haven't had such a bad experience before... did they at least give you any notice?? Were you able to recover your and your clients' data?

Burnout

Although I am not a big poster on this forum, I do prowl for information and help when I need it. When I stumbled across this thread titled is vortech in trouble, I wasn't sure what to make of it.

Our fearless leader Brad responded with a resounding and positive statement that vortech is not closing its doors and has no intention of doing so. This was a relief to hear...

Normally, I wouldn't give a thread of this nature much credence. However, at first I was a little bit concerned, especially knowing that Brad has another business, and therefore something to fall back upon. I also understand that everyone suffers burnout and time off is a necessity. Regardless of what type of business you are in. Web hosting and design certainly has its monotonous tendencies.

Okay, so far, I've said pretty much nothing... but I would like to add my two cents. Brad, if you're out there and/or listening, I would like to say thank you for your efforts in the quality of product that you provide. Keep up the good work. Stopping to smell the roses is an important part of life, and I only hope that the hosting business doesn't drive you into the ground. It would be a shame if vortech were to close its doors, but I wholeheartedly believe that will not happen, because even if you felt as though you've had it with the hosting business, you've got an extremely viable product that you could easily sell to somebody looking to get into the business.
