Are you able to access permissions?
Hands up please those of you who can access permissions on a FrontPage Server extensions enabled live web without getting the error message
'You do not have permission to do this operation, Ask your web site adminstrator to change your permissions and then try again, or log on with a user account that has this permission. To log on with a different user account click ok.' (our logon details don't work) Also those that have usage settings showing on the root web admin page and can click and access 'manage users' 'manage roles' and anything else on the admin page? I have two separate accounts on matrix one is for myself one is with my partners my own bought some months ago has these features the other one bought last month does not - admin tell us that we should not be able to access those features. The accounts are both for $35 plan. I'm being told one thing while able to do it on another account so I want to know who else has this feature? - one has to use fp server ext of course. I'm asking so I can give feedback to admin! Thanks Tina |

It may of just been left on one server, but we will have them all checked tomorrow to make NO one is adding more users to any system with FP.

I don't want to add users I want to set permissions on a subweb to protect it, I can't do that because when I click permissions I'm told I'm not allowed - this is basic to FrontPage, with all your other outstanding features why are we (apparently no one is able to according to your statement - me being able to is a fluke) not allowed to set permissions for a subweb and password protect it?
About the usage settings why are they not available on one account but they are on another? Another setting I should not have? Can you set out or point to the FrontPage permissions and admin we ARE allowed to adminster so I know exactly what I SHOULD be able to do? - I've not seen this anywhere on matrix help files. Thanks Tina |

I have been able to do this on several of my accounts which are on various servers with matrix.
When did this change, as far as being able to use the FrontPage Server Extensions Administrator? Can you tell us how we will now need to go about making subwebs password protected, if we are not going to be able to do this via the FPSE Admin now? This limitation should be made clear to people in your list of features, knowing that a hosting company limits FP server extensions is important in the decision to choose one. Thanks, Tiffany |

Are you perhaps using the Frontpage "web based" administration TiffanyKaye ? I suspect doing it that way still actually works (just guessing though haven't tried for myself as I prefer to avoid FP whenever possible)
