It takes quite awhile to become an established host. In a month's time you have no *reputation* therefore your sign ups I am sure will be low. There are TONS of hosts out there and there are ALOT that are not reputable. Therefore people are weary of the newbies sometimes.

The first 50 customers are the hardest to get - regardless of 'hits'.

I don't think you can turn 'hits' into customers as there are so many other factors to consider - cost, value, support, site content....... etc....

Think of your site like a shop...... getting people to look through the window is one thing.... getting them inside is another.... getting them to buy something... well that's the key

There is no tried and true calculation method that I know of. We (meaning Vortech, Inc.) struggled for the entire first year. It has progressively gotten better over the years. Heck, I remember when we only had 3 servers. Now there are over 100.

It takes time, energy and a lot of patience. No one gets rich off of this quick. At least no one I know.
