5/16/2003 Mail one service interruption

We've had a problem with server mail1 that caused the server to go offline for approximately 10 minutes. During that time any users of that server where not able to send or receive e-mail. No mail or accounts where lost during this time. Any mail that was being delivered might be delayed a few minutesbut beyond that there should be no interruption in any other services. The server is working as expected and no further down time is expected due to this problem.

I would just like to let you all know that MichaelB is one of the new support techs, in case you did not know. Thanks for the update!

Hey this's the kind of notifications I like to hear : to the point, complete and no nonsense. Strait off we knew what happened and the comforting fact that no dat loss was experienced, just delay etc. good stuff
