short term accounts

I am interested if any of you re-sellers has ever set up accounts for clients on a short term/limited basis. For instance if a client wanted a website for only 3 months. What was your experience? How did it go?

What would be the problem? A lot of customers go in 3 month cycles between hosts, I really don't see what the problem could be here. Do you want something specific?

Oh I guess I was looking for anything that might present difficulties. I am using cpanel/WHM and dont have any billing set up just yet so that would be something to consider. I'm thinking of setting something up for travellers, so would charge them for specific blocks of time like 3 months. And I think this would be under one domain name with subdomains for each person that signs up. The idea is to allow them to post photos of their travels and not have to go through the commitment of a long contract, or banner-filled free hosting. Mostly geared toward people that wouldn't have a website otherwise.
Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea, however you choose to do billing is "your own" I mean CPanel is WIDE open for billing, it isn't tied to anything, you can bill for 10 years to the customer and CPanel won't care, where HSphere does. You should be even more open with CPanel's options for your idea.

Yeah
I guess I was looking for anyone that would say "whatever you do . . . make sure you don't . . ." That sort of thing.

It is nice to have the flexibility of cPanel and one of the reason i went with it over Hsphere
