NT48 - Emergency Maintenance for May 13, 2008

To all of our resellers:

It has come to our attention that NT48 has not been acting the way it should be for almost two days now. We originally found two resource abusers on the server but those were not the only problems. At this point we have decided to schedule emergency maintenance for NT48 to find the source of the problem and quickly get things back up to speed. The maintenance will start tonight at 12:00am EDT (GMT/UTC-4), and should hopefully last no more than two or three hours.

I understand that this is a very last-minute notice, and I apologize for the ensuing downtime. However, these problems will continue to persist, and possibly worsen, unless we take care of it as soon as possible.

Our night crew will post messages in the forum for status updates. Again, I apologize for all the trouble this has caused for you and your clients. If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to post here in the forum or send a message to support@vortechhosting.com.

NT48 appears to be back to normal at this time, I have tried the domains reported to me to have problems and so far so good. If you have any more issues please report them in a support ticket so we may research them. I was able to keep downtime at a minimum (about 2hours) so hopefully it did not cause any major problems for any of you. I will keep a close eye on it all night in case of any further problems.

it seems that the NT48 still have problem, it expires the sessions and goes down regularly, I submitted a ticket for this issue, but I get no answer till now. did any one have same problem on NT48 ?

All my sites on NT48 are also still down.... Got tickets open and they are still working on it....

Sites are still running at varied speed and timing out in many instances. Do we have any resolution ?

Would it not have been easier to rebuild the server by now ?

Please advise as we have clients threatening.

Rebuild the server? That wouldn't fix the issue, at this point the server is running faster, if you have any issues with specific sites send us a support ticket

The server is not running faster, we're still experiencing issues with all of our sites hosted on NT48 and at this point we're still going in circles after a day of support tickets.

Disappointing, very disappointing.

I don't know what to say to my customers It's about 3 days that the web sites on NT48 are down or have very poor service.
