Thank you for submitting your opinions,
constructive critisim is always welcome

1. How can you say there are 1000s of sites like mine,
when we haven't even launched yet?
What you see now up there on the site, is peanuts.

2. I assure you of this, you will see the uniqueness and differentiation we are planning, in time.

Wait... It seems now, Ebay owns the following:

1. The word "Bay"
2. The colors Red, Green, Blue and Yellow
3. The word and concept auction and anything related.

Well, I'll tell you this, Ebay is in court right now, and for what?
They weren't the clever creators of a lot of major things on their site. They are being sued by the originator, and the article said something to this effect, I'll put it in laymens terms: "If Ebay loses this case, they will have to either completely change their site and operations, and pay this guy millions upon millions in royalties, and Ebay will suffer greatly".

Ebay is not going to be the King forever,
they have pissed off 100,000s of members,
and people are begging for an alternative.
I would love to show you some of the emails
I get backing us, and saying some, well,
not so nice things about a certain auction site we know.

Ebay got too big, and could care less about its members,
they are going to get hurt in the pockets, mark that.

The Internet is a big place, and when a customer
doesn't get what they want from you, or you don't
treat them right, they have endless options,
and will just go to the next biz, who does take care of them.

Ebay is not going to be another Microsoft,
and Ebay is FAR from untouchable. Remember how everyone thought Windows was "it" and would never be replaced?
Can you say Linux? Ask Gateway and Dell how many systems
they are shipping with Linux, and this is only the start.

I understand your comments, as you don't know my educational
background, experience or the way in which my wheels turn,
and you can't base this on looking at three mockup banners.

P.S. You guys really have my wheels turning on this poop thing now lol!
I think it can be pulled of with being tasteful enough to work,
or maybe, that's just it, do something the other guy is not willing to do, and you get new and exciting places.

Regards

i do remember hush puppies, but i also remember taco bell--their lovable little chihuahua got the boot from the advertising campaign because sales were off 7%. What is the valuable lessoned learned from this--nothing about dogs, i can tell you that. The lessson is that branding, and not the imagery you select to support your brand is important--

just someting to ponder about pooches in general.

I like some of the items under number 2--however, i caution you on the letter e-- You got to remember that nobody starts a buisness and says we are going to treat our customers like crap, (except maybe Ed Debebricks which is a restaraunt we have here in chicago where the waitstaff is pretty rude--intentionally) so if you boast customer service, your customers will hang you with that rope if you let even the slightest amount of slack run out.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor and hope to see bidpuppy banners on a website near me soon.

I can't believe i wrote 'number 2' up there (lol) potty humor is so funny!

Yes, branding is a very important part of
the big picture.

The dog you see there was something that I grabbed
quick. We have an artist based in Japan working up
some cartoon-like puppies.

Yes, nobody starts out like that,
but when a company doesn't take care
of its customers, at least even at an acceptable
level, they lose customers, period.

The whole reason I decided to build
an auctio community, and note the word
community, and that we're not just another "site".
We have some very exciting things planned,
which will materialize as time goes on.

Does Debebricks have awesome food?
We have a famous place like that in NY,
which has one of the best pizza pies on
the East Coast, but they are the rudest people
you will ever be served by, of course, the place
is always packed to the gills, despite the horrible
service and high prices. That's where an internet
company is different, pizza is a magic solution,
software can be cooked up nicely by 1000s of people

Thank you once again for your input.

Regards
