Wireless Network
Hey All,
I'm looking at installing one of the new 54g wireless network systems at my house. I've been looking at the Linksys system but I've got one question. What is the difference and or advantages/disadvantages between an "Access Point" and a "Router with a integrated switch" They're the same price . . . why one over the other? Thanks for your help Chris |

An access point is to "bridge" your existing wired network and expand it wirelessly, a router with switch is a full solution that normally acts as your cable/dsl "modem" and also has 4-8 wired ethernet ports for certain purposes.
