Securing CP images

I've just finished getting my CP running with SSL and that part is great. However, I've changed and modified a lot of the base images directory (I have my own images running off an images dir inside the CP dir. I had hoped that would make the images dir inside the cp.mydomain.com domain that I got my certificate for, but it didn't.

Has anyone dealt with modifying your CP images and get them to work securely in your control panel? I suppose I could always store the images in another secure area, and just reference that area in my CP.

did you try putting https: instead of http: for the location of your files? This is assuming that you have a secure domain.

As Mark said, use an absolute address incorporating https: to the image files. Example:
Code:
https://cp.yourdoman.com/images/logo.gif

I tried this and it didn't work for me. My images don't show up. I just converted to the secure control panel using the temporary SSL that's generated in the CP SSL Manager. Everything seems to be working fine with the control panel. I can get to my reseller account with the secured cp url and I can sign up using the new secured url links for my plan. However, my images don't show up.

I copied my images to the cp subdirectory under my account (mydomainname.com/cp/HSLogo.gif) and tried to access them by having my banner code set to:
<img src='https://cp.mydomainname.com/HSLogo.gif'> but they don't show up. I've tried making an image directory below the cp directory but that didn't work either.

If I change the code to <img src='http://mydomainname.com/images/HSLogo.gif'> it works fine but I get the "This page contains bot secured and nonsecured..." message when viewing the cp.

Any ideas?
Thanks
