You might want to reconsider and submit a support ticket. With this being the Chit Chat Public forum, support may not be looking here for problems.

UPDATE: 9/6/07 My ticket finally got answered today, a month later. (I thought maybe we were all onto something, hence the delayed response.)

But, No surprise here, it's us that are smoking things and the issue remains unresolved without hardly a technical response. (One of the responses to my multiple questions didn't even quite match my question, but i refuse to go back and bang my head on the proverbial wall again.)

I've given up on VT email for critical clients.

For all of you concerned for my health - I also stopped holding my breath a few weeks ago as my remaining test messages still never came through, nor did error/bounce messages get received by the originating senders. My southwest airlines confirmation emails also never made it through. (Better call SWA and tell them their servers aren't compliant.)

TheDesigners... tickets are submitted in most of these cases (at least in all of mine - i can write a small book on this issue alone) - i submitted my ticket first, THEN came to the forums for the simple reason of wondering "If anyone else is having similar issues." (See the title of the thread) Turns out that YES, a few of us were so I was glad that it wasn't only me smoking things. In all of my cases, the tickets haven't done much, or anything at all in this particular case.

2 weeks ago, I setup Email-Only service through another host/company just like Crocman!

I feel your pain. I'm having the same woes with some clients.

Is there a way to have a website hosting at one place and email at another?

I think that would be a good way to have "backup" systems in place.

chungmike there is a way to do that, you would just need to setup a custom mxrecord and a custom cname record (the cname is optional only if you want to us mail.yourdomain.com to access the server)
