Status
Should clients be able to get into their mailboxes yet? Still have a couple getting errors.

Update:
We have seen a few errors as to what you guys are experiencing. That should be intermittent as to the amount of mail that is being processed. It is actual quite amazing how fast our server is processing mail at this moment.
I do know the two techs that worked on that box are still tweaking and watching it closely. Things will be iron out shortly. Keep in mind the mail server is on the T1 connection in the office and not in the Data Center. You will see those intermittent issues as well. |

What our guys are seeing via email from their CP is messages saying mailboxes do not exist.

Whilst it was down that would have been happening, remember even though it's up you may still get some errors becuase of things being Queued and the bounce only now coming back to you. I know i got a couple of bounces long after the email was generated with invalid mailbox errors. Quick way to test would be take one of the mailboxes you've got an invalid error for and just try logging on via webmail, if it works then you've probably got nothing to worry about.

Atlantic, since we restored from backups, some of the accounts between the backup and the restore may have gotten lost. Please submit a TT so we can take a look into the issue.

I will be running mail8 back down to the datacenter in a few minutes. The server will be down for about 15-20 minutes during that time.

Bad news is always better then no news. Thanks for keeping us updated throughout this incident. I understand things break and I appreciate it when a company takes ownership of the problem and works quickly to resolve it.
