Who sent this email?

Wanted to pick the brain(s) of my fellow yachtsmen here at vortech.

Is there a way to get more info on who is emailing me? I received an email from the following address. logictrader@gmail.com It's not spam as it's revelant to some business I'm involved in. The person has not identified himself.

The reason I would like to do a little behind the scenes snooping is I suspect this person may be spoofing as someone to get feedback on a program he is selling.

Its kinda complicated but I really just want to know if there's a way to find out who someone is that emails you. I have googled the name and email with no results.

Guess you can tell I'm not swamped with new clients at the moment.

Thinking of going boating......where did I leave those deck shoes????

The headers will give you more information including the originating IP address that will give you a little more info, but not enough to be able to indentify the person directly, if you suspect it is someone else that you have an email from you may be able to verify the originating IP address from the two emails matches though.
