on the windows boxes in regards to the 301, you can modify the headers in php or asp. Im sure there are pleanty of sites out there with examples to this. remeber google is your friend

gotcha, i actually know about the asp response headers, but I was thinking there might have been a CP setting somewhere that would do it. Thanks for the info
