Extreme H-Sphere by Vortech Inc.

Vixen and I have a little inside joke about the word "extreme".

But I guess you could say we have an Extreme Cluster now with 100 servers in the cluster.
http://www.matrixreseller.com/network/index.php

These are servers that we manage and have to do just with customers. This includes mail, mysql, mssql, pgsql, unix web, win web, backup systems, and CPanel.

We should hit 100 total just in the H-Sphere system within the next 3 to 6 months. At this time, it seems we still have the largest cluster in the world and we plan to keep on rolling and leading the way.

This is a big thanks to all the great customers that have supported us over the years. Thank you for your support.

Thumbs up No no, thank YOU

Having started my hosting business with a different provider - and learned the hard way what poor service can do to your business - I can honestly say to everyone at Vortech - THANKS for everything!

You guys are a shining example of what can be achieved with a smart business model and outstanding commitment to your customers. I hope your business makes truckloads, you deserve it

Been here since November 21, 2002. It's been great going when there are no issues. I still cannot find another provider who can match VORTECH.

Brad, when are you considering retiring the PIII boxes which should be past their prime-life now?

you'll have to double check with craig how long i have been here, but it has been great every step of the way. I really enjoy working with the matrix team.

Can't wait to see us hit the 200 mark!

Well the PIII boxes we really have no problems out of for the most part. LoL They still seem to be kicking along, we replaced some of them already.

Unless something really bad happens I just plan to keep switching them out has they need it. I hate to fix whats not broken.

I'm curious about this too. I added a customer a few days ago, and they got stuck on NT8 - an old beast, Dual PIII 700. Maybe there just aren't many users on it (I hope), but I thought that it would get on one of the newer boxes...

Well said. There is great wisdom in this.

Congrats and thanks for your "extreme" customer service from me too!

Yea they did not have many people on them at all, so we turn them back on for a bit.
