CoreSwitch - 3/5/2005
Hello everyone.
I am sure you noticed the short outage a few minutes ago. We had a roughly 15 minute outage (at about 5:20 to 5:25). This outage, Might be more properly described as a "duplicate IP issue". It seams a server directly attached to the core switch had decided to claim the same ip address as the core router. This caused our routing table to die. The issue haa been resolved and we are working to deturming why this system has that IP address added to it. Last edited by admin : 03-05-2005 at 06:25 PM.
