On the positive side, it might all blow into the neighbors yard

Good luck, everyone. Living in Houston - 60 miles from the Gulf - I feel your pain. I'm a bit of a weather geek, so here are some links to help you track the storm and monitor the latest updates:

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ <-- National Hurricane Center
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/satellite.shtml <-- latest satellite imagery
http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/ <-- Good coverage of tropical weather
http://www.solar.ifa.hawaii.edu/Tropical/tropical.html <-- extensive info from the University of Hawaii
http://www.hurricanealley.net/
http://www.ih2000.net/ira/bmt-wth.htm <-- personal page from a guy in east Texas - loaded with info and updates

Fortunately, it looks as though Frances is getting hammered pretty hard by wind sheer, but it could still re-intensify a bit, so take every precaution necessary.

Stay safe.

Down here in Ft. Lauderdale the feeder bands have already started - electricity off and on for the past couple of hours.

I think we are going to miss the eye and hopefully when it gets to Orlando it'll have died down a bit (already dropped to cat 2 this morning- but even that is one biiiiig mofo storm).

Put your head between your knees and kiss your servers goodbye... ;o)

Hey Matt,

Isn't it about time to pack up and go away? What are you still doing hanging around my friend?

OK folks, office is shutting down, phone support non-existent until this thing passses through. Ticket response should be quick as always, and I've asked the people on duty to login to Chat as well.

Everyone here is now working remotely from home.

One hand on the mouse......and one hand on a beer

I'm staying in my house... I'm in Daytona, so we're not looking at a direct hit, but we'll be in the TS winds for 24-36 hours like the rest of Florida. I'm away from flood zones, so storm surge won't be a problem, and there aren't too many trees nearby. House was built last year, so its suppose to be Hurricane ready... so we'll see!

Well, sounds from the latest reports, the winds aren't going to be an issue as much as the amount of rain and flooding.

Just curious, NT5 . . . now is that at the top or bottom of the rack?

 Oh, come on, just trying to break the tension a little.
