Phone System - 4/10/04

There is currently an issue with our office T1. This T1 operates our internet access and phone system, which is causing our phone system to be inaccessible at this time. Luckily, we have a backup internet connection via Road Runner so the techs are still able to answer tickets. The phone company has been contacted and we are simply waiting for them to fix the issue. Therefore, I would recommend submitting a TT today if you need an immediate response as currently there is no ETA as to when the phones will be functioning again.

Phones are back!!

Please be aware though that the outside wiring for our building needs to be replaced (to some extent), but we will notify everyone in advance when this has been scheduled. It will not affect the network or support, just the phones for a short period.

BellSouth is here this morning and will be replacing some of the exterior wiring to stabilize our phones and T-1. The work will begin here shortly and we anticipate phones being out for a couple of hours if everything goes well. The network will not be affected at all, all systems should remain stable. The staff will be monitoring tickets and Chat closely, and we will advise as soon as we have confirmation that the phones are back........
