Yeah, we are equally frustrated. This has been a veritable nightmare for support and especially the H-SPhere billing dept. Its impossible to get anything done when it times out or spits out an error ...especially when you got someone on the phone waiting for you to do something
..I need a drink..

We are vacuuming the database now and I'm tweaking some settings... Tomorrow we'll be adding 2 more GB of memory and that should help... Also, I'm ensuring that the database will be vacuumed every morning at about 3am, so it may be /slightly/ slow at this time, but that will be offset by the lower usage at 3am... Hopefully this should make it not crawl like it has been... But we'll keep workin on it if it doesn't ...

what about cpanel
One of my employees just called me again to say he can't do his work because of this problem.
I find it very diffucult to run my business with these issues constantly preventing us from entering our system. I really need to set up a new account with a MySql databases tonight for a client and I don't see that happening. There are also other accounts that if not moved to this server before the end of the month will cost us another month of service at the other company. I have been telling my people to be paitent and things will get better but they seem to be getting worse. I still want to find out if switching to Cpanel will solve all these problems once and for all. I have a merchant account where I do all my billing and don' use the billing feature in hsphere. |

Cpanel is on seperate servers, to my knowledge, so the problems should not exist if you used Cpanel.
I know this is frustrating for all of you and since it affects our Hsphere CP the exact same way, we are experiencing the exact same issues each of you are. As Brad stated earlier, we are doing all we can but we have nothing to gauge this by since no one has gotten to this point with Hsphere as of yet EXCEPT us. Which means, once again, we are the guinea pig. <sigh> Rest assured we are working as hard as we can to find a fix.

CP seems to be fine for me right now at 9:30pm moving right along, was working when I left the office as well. Not sure if matt was making some more changes or not.
Load on the cppgsql box is now 1.70 a lot better then the 0.20 now its being used at least.. But still want to look at the cluster options for the cppgsql stuff so we can scale as far as we need.. ![]()
