Ditto
Ditto. cp is iffy and a few times I've had to just close my browser session down so I could do other things.
If you guys keep talking about the size of the cluster I'll have to start making puns about what type of cluster it really is. ![]()

It is painfully slow for me as well. I know these guys are working on it so maybe a solution is forthcoming.
One thing I have noticed is that even before the 'speed issues' started occurring, the CP was somewhat slow during the weekday (mon-fri) but on the weekends (sat-sun) it was pretty fast. Since this issue occurred, the CP does not display the same speed on the weekends as it once did. It is the same every day at this point. When I realized that the CP was faster on the weekends, I equated that with lower numbers of users accessing the system. I am starting to wonder if maybe the last CP update has caused this problem overall. Its probably pointless to mention it as I am sure you guys have considered that but I am just voicing some ideas here. |

perhaps time for another db flush? that seems to help a little - granted it takes the CP down for extended periods.

Still cannot get the CP to respond
I cannot beleive this! Another day of the same issue, CP not working
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. If I switch all accounts to CPanel will my system work? b |

I was having this issue trying to get into my admin CP, so I went around the long way, using http://cp.hsphere.cc:8080/psoft/serv...oft.hsphere.CP to log into my master CP, then drilling down to get to my admin CP.
Takes forever, but it's working at least. All I know is, right now my admin CP is smokin' - really fast. I better not jinx it! ![]() |

Well got some good and bad news..
Good news always first. Psoft is working on a way for us to do a cluster for the backend of H-Sphere as that seems to be the issue. They are saying a week to get it ready to go. In the mean time we have anther 2 GB of ram ordered and will be here tomorrow AM to go in the cppgsql system to see if that will at least hold it till next week when Psoft can support a cluster of pgsql systems behind the CP. We are also going to be looking in to doing a cluster for the front end of the system of the CP to load balace it. But the load on both systems is next to nothing so even with all the cluster stuff we can't say if it will help or not as NO one has got to this point with H-Sphere besides us. No for the bad news, if the ram does not help this issue and psoft can't find the root of the problem then we are kind of stuck for the time being. Matt is reading over some pgsql stuff to try and up some stuff to try and speed it up and get it moving as it once was.
