MySQL Storage/Cypher Plan

Hello. What is the limit of MySQL storage for the Cypher plan? I don't see that listed in my main account information anymore. Thanks,
Rod

Everything is grouped together for disk usage. Your database, email, web, etc space are lumped into one. You can use as much space in your mysql database as long as it stays within what you have available for disk space in your plan.

Thanks Carly. Is this something fairly new? I remember before that there was a limit for MySQL storage.

I have some follow-up questions...

Let's say a user has a 50mb hosting account. If they have 10 mb of mail on the servers as well as 20mb of mysql storage currently used do they then only have 20mb for other stuff? What happens if the mysql storage and mail exceeds 50mb? Wish there was a clear FAQ somewhere on the vortech site regarding all of this. I haven't found one. The FAQ just redirects to the message forums. I'd rather have a nice FAQ list with answers from Vortech people.

Thanks for your help.
Rod

The HSphere documentation explains it fairly well imo and even gives examples, this should normally be your first place to look if your unsure about the control panel.

To answer your question, if your customers Plan has Summary Disk Usage enabled, then under the scenario above you are correct in saying they will only have 20Mb left. Providing you haven't set any hard resource limits on the account though it will allow them to exceed this and automatically charge them at the overage rate you have set in the plan, if they upgrade the summary disk themselves then it will be charged at the monthly rate set in the plan instead (which is usually set lower than the overage rate to encourage them to upgrade as they need it).
