2004-03-02 PIX revisited
Reminder that, half an hour from now, at midnight EST/0500 UTC, we will have another go at putting the PIX boxes in place.

At this moment it appears everything is back up and functioning properly. If anyone is having any issues please submit a TT or post it here.

Pix are installed and working in failover. Next plan is fail over for the 2 routers and add new cogent lines but these should not cause any big down times and will also be done at night. These are as simple as change a config, cable and add new card to the router.
 Its all coming together now to make us even stronger.

is the cp is down or because of the new installation of PIX firewalls ?
I can't access my cp (http://cp.hsphere.cc:8080) after this installation, "DNS not found". please some advice....

yeah, I get a CP error with that URL. I think the CP login URL was changed some time back - the master CP login is
http://cp.hsphere.cc:8080/psoft/serv...oft.hsphere.CP I'm not exactly sure what the admin/end user login is because I'm using a custom URL. I do know that the CP is up and running, though. I'm in it right now.

i'm already try http://cp.hsphere.cc:8080/psoft/serv...oft.hsphere.CP
and my custom URL to access my admin/end user login. Both give me the same result, , "DNS not found". http://status.vortechhosting.com:8080/ --> has the same result... DNS not found. what's wrong ??

Both URLs work for me from an outside network, so the problem seems to lie somewhere on your end. If the DNS was not resolving I would not be able to get there myself. Any ideas anyone??

DNS error is one thing... but both those sites use different ports... Make sure you dont have ZoneAlarm or your ISP blocking those ports.
