New Account's Files

Is there any way to control what files will be added when a new account is created? I don't want my clients to have the login.html, index.html, and all the other preinstalled components. Can that be done?

Thank you,
Radu Grama

No, those are all installed by default thanks to HSphere, and there is no setting that I've ever found that allows for those to be turned off.

No, what I do is I have a customized login for new clients. I just ftp in and delete what I don't want them to have and upload the index.html. I want them to use that matches the design of my website. It is a pain but until hsphere allows resellers to have their own default directories to pull from, it is the only way I could come up with

+ If you are not online, when clients signup..it's to late to make the change = Delete the index.html file and upload your own.

As you suggest (Gadgetgal99)- It could be a great addition to H-sphere is psoft could make a default reseller directory, where your could upload a your own default index page. Maybe one day (=2008)

I moderate everything to avoid fraud so no account is ever created until I'm there.

I see, so basically those files are not required, by moderating the signups you get a chance to make changes. Which brings me to the next questions:

1. I have Moderate Everything checked (no other moderate checkbox checked) and for some reason a test signup I made did not get moderated. Do you have to check everything? Does it matter what type of billing you selected?

2. Related to the above, obviously I am asking the questions because the documentation shows useless screenshots. Is there any decent place (other than this list) that documents how H-sphere CP actually works?

Thanks,
RG

Thank you for your answer (gadgetgal99) and documentation, I alreay looked through the documentation but I have to say that it's lame, it does'n detail anything, it has a screenshot of a bunch of checkboxes and no explanation.

On top of that, what's the purpose of Moderate Everything when you still have to check all the checkboxes... Oh well, I guess that's what we have to live with.
