Yep all good now and trying to find what server is pulling to many amps in that rack.. They pull 1amp and there is 11 servers in there so total of 11AMPs should be getting used on a 20 amp power strip there.. But we will have it fully fixed one way or the other. Ether finding the bad power supply that may be pulling to much or just add anther 20 amps in all the racks to keep it from doing that again.

Get an Amprobe is the easiest way to find out, all you have to do is clamp on the cable measure the current.

Sounds like a short or a bad power supply. The power supply and fans are the juice suckers that can cause power failure without causing visible prior data issues. I'd swap em out.

TonyK, already doing it.. We are checking each cable to see if there is one doing something it should not be doing..

Ether way we will get it fixed ASAP one way or the other.. Ether by finding the bad power supply or just adding some more power.. I would be happier finding the bad power supply..
