We tried Nagios before and I hated that thing, plus it does not have a simple side you can just go look at like IPMon.

really...the demo looked like it did. Ipmon seems to work well...my only "complaint" is it would be nice if resellers could be notified of alerts. One day I may make my own

I actually did follow the older thread, now that I look, just not completely. The xmlhttp thing clarifies why I got stumped w/ that trying to convert Brangwyn's multiple cp login script. I could not figure that out.
So, are the options for pulling the status page info basically perl for unix? It seemed like windows asp or php allowed easier access.
Anyone else recommend another unix language or had success with it?

I'm trying the Rushland script for now, it matches the color of my site. I know I'm lazy but why work if you don't have to lol. Here is the link see what you think of it.

Server Status Monitor - ASP/XML ipMonitor® Grabber

Hi -- Just posted this same message over in the development area, but thought I'd add a reply to this related thread...

I've seen some posts before regarding an ASP/XML page grabber that might be used to make your own branded copy of Vortech's (or any) ipMonitor page... Well, by the time I saw those posts I was already building one of my own for my reseller site, and also to sell to any web hosting resellers who might not be too technically minded or who just don't have the time to write new scripts for themselves...

Anyway, my fancily named "ASP/XML ipMonitor® Grabber" includes one particularly nice feature I hadn't seen anywhere before - which is the ability to send instant e-mail alerts (which also list the machines giving any yellow and/or red alerts in the message). This is also why I decided to ask if I could post this product-related message here a few weeks back...

So, if you'd like to see a real-life demonstration, go here:
http://www.idowebhosting.net/server_status.asp

A generic, out-of-the-box demo is here:
http://www.krafft.com/scripts/server...ver_status.asp

And all the product information and links to purchase are here:
http://www.krafft.com/scripts/app_server_monitor.asp

Thanks for letting me abuse the forums with a shameless self-promoting commercial plug But I hope you'll enjoy the application anyway!
