Job Que Software

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any software (web or software based) that keeps track of jobs (ie job management software), for whats been done in the job and how much longer its estimated to go etc.

I saw somthing like this on planetsourcecode.com somewhere ages ago.

Well two of the most common desktop apps are Microsoft Project and ACT.

Two nice ones for unix (php/mysql) are PHPCollab and dotProject. We are currently using PHPCollab and like the simplicity of it.

If they're hosting customers, why not just use H-Spheres Custom Jobs function ?

The problem with Hsphere is that it isn't connected to our other office and business systems (ie., Quickbooks, Outlook, and PHPcollab). My partner (ie., wife) keeps hounding me to get the data from hsphere into one of our other systems. I guess it all comes down to what software you're most comfortable with.

H-Sphere does allow extracts though on some of the reports, which I've found quite usefull to pump back into Excel or quicken etc.

Billing Entries is one of the ones I use most, it has an "export" button there which dumps all the info into a csv file.
