unix4.hsphere.cc is currently down for unknown reasons. Drive is having fsck run on it and then the machien should be back up.

Unix4 hardward died, no data is lost we are copying the data to a brand new machine should be done soon.

Any status update on this? my sites are back up, but i'm unable to ftp in. Thanks for the hard work on a sunday.

Sorry, I should have stated this sooner, Unix4 is back up, but its ONLY serving pages at the moment, its on crutches until the morning.

i am having some internal server error with some applications (cgi and perl )

webshell is also having problems (no files are showing up)

It still runs the old Apache and PHP. Any reason for this?

If it is due an upgrade could you do it soon please, as I'm experimenting with php on this machine and would hate to find i have to change everything.....

Those updates are mainly bugfixes, nothing to worry about for your scripts

I just signed up a new user and they were placed on Unix4 - any reason why I should move them to another Unix server, or is 4 stable once again?

The hardware in 4 was upgraded, new Harddrive, dual xeon's ... We turned it back on since it can handle manymore sites now.

most of the stuff i do is on that one jmbeach, and i've never had a problem with it in a year and a half.
