Things got better for a short time the last time this was done, but the corruption came back with a vengeance. Is there a more permanent solution for this issue? I have been told each time there might be a possible bad section on the hard drive. Is replacing the drive being considered?

It's just that I've been hard hit by corruption and drive problems and I need to feel confident it won't be happening every month or so.

Thanks.

Going down again to replace both CPU fans with superior ones.

No definite word on the HD situation yet. I think we'll try to replace it tomorrow evening if conditions permit.

How are the new fans? What is the chance that we are going to get a new drive? Any update would be appreciated.

It's just that my message board site has been voluntarily down since Friday due to the ever-increasing frequency of half-written / corrupted files. This is killing my site, but it's either this or risk the strong chance of losing data.

I was glad to hear that a drive problem has been discovered, but I was upset about how long it would take to be fixed. Each time I have informed my users when we would be opening our doors again, I have had to push it back. I thought it would be last night, but the drive problem was discovered. Now I'm not even sure if the drive will be replaced and I will be back up by tonight!

Please do what you can to expedite this solution.

Thank you for your efforts.
