It will go away later today when we remove POP-before-SMTP.

Red face

Interesting... I would think since we are having problems NOW, NOW would be a good time to fix it!

Anyway, here's to "later today"!

BTW: Thanks, Bladesnitz, for the fast response.

I may be experiencing a different issue.

Not only am I getting the password popups, but I sent an email to myself from one PC to another, and the email is not on the Vortech mail servers. I checked web mail and the test emails aren't there either.

I have no bounces. The emails just vanished. This didn't happen before today.

Is anyone else having the same issue?

It's later today because this has been a known upgrade/update for about the last 2 weeks. I think they just want to keep to their original schedule date, since we all (me mostly ) get up in arms when their network maintenance happens early.

Do you mean to say that the FROM email address that you tested isn't on the vortech servers? If so, and if you're sending it through the Vortech mail servers (ie: mail.yourdomainatvortech.com), it will be denied. Otherwise, maybe your FROM email is being routed through a blacklisted domain.

I'd submit a TT with all pertinent info so that someone at Vortech can check their dumped mail queue to see if it landed there.

I sent it from tsreeves@indylogic.com on PC#1 to treeves@indylogic.com to PC#2, with the mail server mail.indylogic.com on both. IndyLogic.com is hosted on Vortech's servers, and I made the authentication changes that Vortech requested.

I am getting the same problems as everyone and it is scary if the emails are disappearing or not even being delivered. Please fix this asap. Also, are there new mail settings that we are supposed to be using?
