All of a sudden I cannot send outgoing email from any of my accounts. I haven't changed anything and I can still send fine from my other POP accounts outside of Matrix/Vortech. This started happening around 6/14/2003.
Please Help! |

So is SMTP auth supposed to on or OFF ????
According to the documentation it's supposed to be ON! http://support.vortechhosting.com/de...php?article=12 This is causing a GREAT deal of problems and confusion (along with the continued ANNOYING prompts about the login being rejected). |

You need to make sure that you have smtp auth turned off so that your email client uses Pop Before SMTP auth.

It's apparantly never supposed to have been on in the first place dlrmartin, so I don't think it will change again.
Must admit that KB article you linked too is confusing, for Eduroa it says Do not user SMTP auth, yet for OE it does. |

I noticed most of that doc was for Cpanel users as well, I am trrying to get some access to the FAQ and I will fix it if I can
