Knowledgebase
has anyone gotten the knowledgebase to work? Also, when will we be able to integrate our enom account with our reseller accounts using h-sphere. Damn I really liked h-sphere before but now I'm really having doubts, unfortunately. It sounds good to have all this functionality but damn if it doesn't work, what's the point. I am also worried about securing the damn cp. If i buy an ssl cert, will i still get errors? HELP

The way I read the instruction on Psoft’s site seems to indicate that as ‘Resellers’ we can’t set it up as ‘we’ would like it.

I sent that as a trouble ticket and they told me that it seems like a bug again. H-Sphere damn what a joke! They keep making new editions but dont fix old problems and instead make new problems. When will this madness end

I actually got mine to work , but if the info that showed up was available to a client it would be horrible because it is reseller kb.
I believe I went to settings then tech support. Then I could have info show up. They totally gloss over setting up a "tech admin acct." I do have to say it is a little alarming to have someone constantly adding "features" that could affect you in a "bad way" ![]() |

Update on kb...
I got my kb to work as I said. I got 2 categories "reseller" and "domain name". Also under setting->tech supp I could choose N/A or Support. However, when I search for something under a category I get nothing unless I choose "Any" then it works fine. Even when I login to reseller side I get to see the kb. In fact it seems to be the same info in reseller, admin & svc domain end. If the kb was changed for end users then I assume it would work except for the search logic problem. |

I will have to try and see if i can get mine to work...i'll keep everyone informed.
BTW does that mean i have to make and use up another account?

i went to the settings...tech support link and only found selections for n/a and support. I don't know how i can add other categories
so i guess i'll have to wait and see what matrix has to say.

It’s seems from the issues relating to the knowledge base and other glitches in the system that Psoft have a ‘nil’ testing procedure. Our only hope lies with Matrix / Vortech getting on their backs and pressing then to resolve issues (which I’m sure they do).

This is what i just got back from Psoft.. It looks like its Admin side only and i think that is bull so i am letting them know.. Any way we found 2 bugs in the Knowlege base already.
Psoft: This is not a bug. The 'Knowlege base admin' feature is supposed to be available only for main admin. But we will consider to allow this feature for reseller's administrative accounts. |

I thought that may be the case - as this system is aimed (er I think it is) at resellers, PSoft sure do make it difficult for them
